How You Can Help

•  You can volunteer for services.

                          a)      Professors/Lecturers/Professionals  with different expertise can volunteer to give informational talks, career guidance, teach for 

                                   preparation in various exams etc. If you inform us of your availibiltiy timings and venue choices that suit you, we will advertise for the

                                   event and co-ordinate with the Dhodia Samaj Mandals. We will connect you to interested audience.

                          b)     You can mentor students individually from anywhere by giving them your personal time to help them plan their career according to

                                   their liking and abilities, build resumes, make applications for jobs, help them get practical training in your organization, help them in

                                   job search etc. You are not expected to give financial assistance to the mentee.  

•   You can donate in kind. Books for children, books for entrance exam preparation, educational DVD/CD, computers etc. can be shipped directly to schools in the villages that need them. We will be shortly providing a list of schools where such donations in kind will be welcome.

 Our Students Who are seeking Assistance

 Students who seek any type of assistance may please make a request to us in email. If you do not have access to email you can ask someone else to do it for you.

•  If you are asking for advise for careers all the people in the volunteer desk would be happy to assist you to get any information that you need.

•  If you are asking for financial assistance for education, we will require more details from you. We will ask you for further details, verify them and then publish your request.

 Please Note:

• We will publish your request, but we do not assure that we will always find donors to 

  assist you (if you have made a request for financial assistance).

• No money will be given to any student or parent directly.
• All money paid towards fees will be made payable directly to the School/College/

  Univeristy as a cheque, so that all records can be traced. 

• We do not publish any requests for assistance for self financed institution fees.
• At the moment we discourage any request for financial assistance except for education.
• Students are requested to take the aid more as a loan and return it to another needy 

  student once they finish studies and get jobs. Please pass on the generosity received.

• CD/DVD
• education aids
•  entrance exam preparation material etc to the schools in their villages or nearby.

Please Note:

• You can donate to the schools in your own villages directly
• We can collect these from you if you want us to and donate them to the school or students prescribed by you if you send us an email. However, it is preferred that you post it directly to the school/student so that you are sure that the aid has been received by the recipient.  
• If students seek old books etc. you can also post your requirement and we can also publish those and we find the donors we can help you get the books etc.
