30th Post-Graduate Program in Rural Management (PRM 2009-11)
PRM
is a two-year residential postgraduate Programcomprising four different
segments classroom, fieldwork, organisationalunderstanding and
management training.
PRM is recognized as
equivalent to Master's Degree by the Association of Indian Universities
(AIU) and is also approved by the All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE).
8th Fellow Program in Rural Management (FPRM 2009)
FPRM
is a course work based doctoral Program with a residency requirement of
minimum 3 years, approved by the All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE).
IRMA 2008 Eligibility
30th Post-Graduate Program in Rural Management (PRM 2009-11)
Graduates in any discipline with a minimum of 15
years (10+2+3) of education and having 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD)
aggregate marks or an equivalent GPA from a recognisedIndian or foreign
university/ institution are eligible to apply.
Candidates, who expect to fulfilthe eligibility requirements before June 08, 2009, may also apply. Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
8th Fellow Program in Rural Management (FPRM 2009)
Candidates with any one of the following:
Postgraduationin any discipline from a recognisedInstitution with 55% marks and 50% marks at graduation level;
PRM from IRMA;
Four-year professional degree (engineering, agricultural sciences etc.) with 60% marks and at least one year work experience;
Five-year professional degree (medicine,
veterinary science, architecture etc.) with 60% marks are eligible for
admission to FPRM.
SC/ST/OBC/PwD(Persons with Disability) candidates
are eligible for 5% relaxation in the marks specified above.
Candidates, who expect to fulfilthe eligibility requirements before June 08, 2009, may also apply.
IRMA 2008 Selection Procedure: A written test, common for PRM and FPRM will be conducted on November 9, 2008 Sunday (09:15-12:15 hr) at 27 centres across India.
PRM participants are selected on the basis of
thewritten test, group discussion and interview. FPRM participants are
selected on the basis of the written test, interview and presentation
of research proposal. Candidates with PRM qualification from IRMA
applying for FPRM are exempt from the written test.

Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow,
Mumbai, Nagpur, Pantnagar, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Rajkot, Ranchi,
Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur, Varanasi, and Vijayawada.
IRMA 2008 Application Form
One of the following options:
Printed application
material(prospectus, application forms etc.) may be obtained from
Admissions Coordinator, IRMA, Anand-388 001 on payment of Rs100/-, and
an examination fee of Rs750/-(Rs500/-for SC/ST/PwD) with the filled-in
application form.
Application material is available withIMS centreson cash payment of full fee i.e. Rs850/ (Rs 600/-for SC/ST/PwD).
Fill in the application form online through
IRMA website, print it out, and send it to IRMA along with the full fee
of Rs850/ (Rs600/-for SC/ST/PwD).
Download the application form from IRMA website and submit along with the full fee of Rs.850 (Rs600/-for SC/ST/PwD).
Prospectus and sample question papers will be sent
to the candidates opting for options c or d, after their applications
are received at IRMA.
All the payments to IRMA shouldbe in the form of DD favouring'Institute of Rural Management'payable at Anand.
